| Rehber-e-Ziraat relay hunger strike enters into 38 day | | | JAMMU APR 6: Rehbar-E-Ziraat has been sitting on hunger strike for the last 38 days at Mubarak Mandi Jammu in support of their demand of regularizing at the pattern of Rehber-e-Taleem after five years of service.
Protestors while alleging discrimination with them at the hands of state government demanded Cabinet Decision on pattern of Rehber -E- Taleem (ReT) they would be regularized after five years. They alleged that they have not beenregularized even after rendering services of 9 yrs. Besides this they appealed for regularizatuion procedure through age wise as many of the Agriculture Technocrats are at verge of upper age limit. Dr Surinder Radotra president of Association and Dr Khurshid President of Kashmir said that all Rehbar-E-Ziraat engaged in agriculture sector should be regularized at earliest and in one go. They also mentioned that the deputation of association has also approached the Prime Minister of India Dr Manmohan Singh, UPA Chairperson Mrs. Sonia Gandhi, AICC General Secretary Rahul Gandhi and President of India Smt Pratibha Devi Singh Patil seeking their intervention for the redressal of grievances of the Agricultural Technocrats.
