SDSS condemned dictatorial approach towards RTI activist | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT KATHUA APR 6: Sarv Dharam Seva Samiti (SDSS) today condemned Kathua Administration for adopting the dictatorial attitude approach towards a RTI activist Ankur Sharma who demanded the magisterial probe in Kathua to Kalibari road project. While interacting with media person the president of the Samiti Robin Sharma criticized the developing undemocratic tendencies and corrupt practices in the Kathua Secretariat in which the few subordinates of DC Kathua are main players. He however appreciated the dynamic and effective role of DC Kathua Zahidha Parveen Khan who takes initiatives to bring reforms in the administration. Speakers pointed out that the road project from Kalibari to Hatli Morh via Kathua was sanctioned in 2006 to ERA and started the construction from 2008 through a local construction company in which three partners including two contractors and a big politician are major players. They also warned the administration to ready to face the aggression of the people if the road work from Shaheedi Chowk to Kathua will not start after ten days.
