| Missing girl tracked down with kidnapper | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 7: Hina (name changed) who had been kidnapped some five months back from Boniyar Baramulla was recovered from Jammu from the possession of the accused Tariq Ahmad Najar yesterday. On 27th October 2011 one girl Hina (name changed) resident of Alhootra Panzla Tehsil Rohama who as per the family members was ailing had left her sister's home for primary health centre Boniyar for treatment and did not turn up home. Subsequently her sister lodged a missing report in Police Station Boniyar regarding the matter. Consequent upon this a missing report was entered in Police Station Boniyar vide DD NO.14 dated 27-10-2011 and search for the missing girl was started by Police Station Boniyar.
Meanwhile on 14 of January, 2012 father of the said missing girl approached Police Station Boniyar and lodged a written report stating therein that basically the missing girl has been found to have been kidnapped by one Tariq Ahmed Najar son of Ab Ahad resident of Alhootra Panzla for illegal sexual intercourse. On receipt of this report a case FIR NO 05/2012 U/S 366 RPC was registered in Police Station Boniyar and investigation taken up. Due to the strenuous efforts of Baramulla Police, the girl was recovered from Jammu yesterday on 6 of March. The accused Tariq Ahmed Najar was also arrested. After fulfilling the medico-legal formalities the girl was handed over to her legal heirs. |
