| PDP discusses problems of Leh, Kargil | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 7: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) today discussed the prevailing situation in Leh and Kargil. In a meeting of the PDP held at Kargil under the chairmanship of district president Ghulam Murtaza problems of the people and demand were also discussed in detail while measures for eradicating the problems were also deliberated. On the occasion, Abhijeet Singh Jasrotia state-co-ordinator of youth wing of the PDP was the chief guest. Scarcity of food, regular break down of electricity and supply of irregular water also brought to the notice of the chief guest, especially in block Shargol, Pashkun, Minzee Akchamal and Drass area. The meeting warned the Government if the immediate action towards mitigating the problems of the people is not taken, the general public would start agitation. In the above meeting Jasrotia listened to the party workers and assured that the demands and problems of Kargil will be brought to the notice party leadership. |
