Training programme for judicial officers, lawyers held | | | Early Times Report udhampur, Apr 7: A two day orientation programme on meditation for judicial officers and advocates of Udhampur District commenced today in the conference hall of Dy Commissioner Udhampur on Saturday. The training programme is being organized by J&K High Court Legal Service Committee Jammu in Co-ordination with main meditation centre High Court of J&K. The object of the programme is to apprise the participants and make them aware about the concept of meditation as Alternate Dispute Resolution incorporated recently in the Code of Civil Procedure. Firdous Qasim Karachiwala, Advocate and master trainer on meditation has been deputed as resource person while Raja Shujat Ali Khan Registrar Rules, Coordinator Main Meditation Centre High Court of J&K was chief guest on the occasion. Brij Mohan Gupta, Principal District and Sessions Judge Udhampur welcoming guests said that the programme will benefit and will go a long way in successful resolution of disputes between the parties. MK Sharma Addl District and Session Judge Udhampur stated that meditation is just like OPD in Hospital where the patients with small disease can be relieved immediately by administering necessary treatment. |
