MIET conducts cleanliness, hygiene campaign

Jammu, Apr 7: A cleanliness and hygiene maintenance campaign was conducted on MIET campus today in which 100 students participated in the programme. The programme is scheduled for two days.
In the programme students sensitized and enlightened about the importance of cleanliness and hygiene and motivated to keep their surroundings and environment neat and clean. They also conversed about that a healthy environment plays a significant role in the development of their personality. Thereafter the cleanliness drive was undertaken by the energetic NSS volunteers on the campus. They participated in it whole heartedly and cleaned the areas on campus with full enthusiasm.
A campaign was also organized by the students to sensitize and motivate other students to upkeep the environment clean and hygienic.
Programme was conducted by NSS team of the institute headed by prof. B B Mehmi, Mr varun Koul, Pooja Sharma, Vishal, Anshu Khosla and Anil Gupta, along with the students of MBA, MCA and BE.
