Jammu , Apr 7: Coca-Cola India today launched Season-V of `Sprite Gully Cricket Championship' in the city this morning through a simple function on the lanes of Green Field ground Gandhi Nagar, here. To give it a feeling of true gully cricket, launching function was organized on the lane outside Green Field ground. The actual competition shall take place in the city on April 12 and April 13. Already underway, the championship will involve thousands of cricket players from 13 states and 112 cities across four zones of the country. About Sprite Gully Cricket: The tournament is divided in the following stages: Call for participation that would be executed through on-label promotion, radio, print and outdoors etc. It will be followed by City level and Zonal finals rounds. After the city level matches are conducted, the center winners will participate in the Super League-Zonal level knockout matches and the winners would be rewarded with a cash price of Rs five lakhs. |
