JAMMU, Apr 8: With a view to sensitize younger brains to get connected to trees and take care of nature, Kids Tree Talk was today hosted in SOS Home Channi Rama Jammu where teachers, kids, students from different parts of Jammu region took keen interest in one hour walk inside the campus and familiarized about planted trees like Blackboard Tree ,Silver Oak Tree, Bogainvillea, Curry leaf tree ,Sheesham, Semal, Amaltas, Gulmohar, Jacranda, Panjtara, Sohanjana, Coral tree, Parrot tree . Prem Lata while welcoming the organizers expressed hope that such an informative and educative programme is quite refreshing for the kids who have keen observation of the surroundings and are keen to know more about different trees, plants, flowers, birds, butterflies seen around whenever they visit different places within or outside Jammu. Kids participating in the 106th Tree Talk recited poems ,couplets, songs and lyrics in praise of birds, trees and nature. Next Tree Talk will be held in MHAC School Nagbani on April 12. |
