| CII reaches out to orphans on World Health Day | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 8: CII Jammu Chapter observed the World Health Day with the orphans of Ved Mandir Balniketan at Ambphalla Jammu. CII organized a free health check up for the children of Ved Mandir Balniketan. Dr Shyam Gupta, In charge Sarwal Hospital Jammu conducted the health examination of all the children. Dr Shyam advised the children that the most important facet of good health is good quality healthy diet and adequate exercise.
He said that exercises helps in achieving good health by strengthening our cardio-vascular system, strengthening our muscle mass and reducing the affect of stress on the body.
Shantnu Gupta member CII and Convener Yi Jammu Chapter was also present on the occasion. Shantnu said that good health is not only about not being ill, it is about being happy and feeling whole from a physical, mental and spiritual point of view. |
