| Markaz-i-Noor organizes conference on Zen Shah Wali | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, Apr 8: On the occasion of annual Urs of Hazrat Zen-ud-Din Wali (RA), a spiritual conference was organized at Alsharwat Higher Secondary School, Sarnal, Anantnag coinciding with the Urs of Hazrat Zain-ud- Din Wali (RA) at Aishmuqam.
Prominent among those, who participated in the conference included District Development Commissioner, Anantnag , Kifayat Rizvi, Director Information, Khawaja Farooq Renzu shah, Deputy Inspector General of Police Anant nag, Shafqat Watali, District Development Commissioner, Budgam Moham mad Rafi, Head, Markazi Nor, Sheikh-ul-Alam Chair, Kashmir University Bashar Bashir, Prominent Writers, G. N. Gowhar, Aziz Hajini, G. N. Atish, Journalists including Maqbool Veeri and Principal Alsarwat Higher Secondary School.
Speaking on the occasion, Kh. Renzushah called for propagating the teachings of Sufi saints to restore the past glory of the valley called as Heaven on the Earth. He said Kashmir Valley is centre of Sufism and abode for seekers of mental peace and solace adding that it is an ideal place for meditation and prayers.
Other speakers also highlighted different aspects of the life of sufi saint, Zen-ud-Din Wali (RA) and its relevance in the present day life. |
