| Jammuite wins LIC's All India model hunt contest | | | early times report
Jammu, Apr 8: Son of the soil, Jagbir Singh Jamwal, has brought laurels for the city of temples as he recently won the Life Insurance Corporation of India's, (LIC) All India Model Hunt Contest. Jamwal, 32, a resident of Tophsherkhanian in the city outskirts, was among the five lucky contestants who were selected for the LIC's campaign.
In this all India slogan writing contest, 5 best contestants were selected amongst thousands entries and Jagbir is only successful contestant from Jammu and Kashmir State. In this slogan writing contest, the participant had to write a Slogan for LIC and the best slogan writer was offered a chance to act as a Model in LIC's commercial advertisement.
Jagbir informed that the commercial advertisement was partially shot at Mumbai by RK Swamy BBDO Advertising Agency at Famous Studio, Mahalaxmi Mumbai early in January this year and some shots were also taken at Jammu's own Hari Niwas Palace.
Jamwal was very keen in writing captions/ slogans in various newspapers and magazines. He has won a number of prizes in these activities. |
