| Four bovine smugglers held, 10 animal rescued | | | early times report
Udhampur, Apr 9: Udham-pur Police today arrested four bovine smugglers who were smuggling 10 bovine animals on foot via Sankri Devta temple hills route towards Nathatop. Police said that based on a reliable information regarding an attempt of bovine smuggling on foot via Sankri Devta temple hills-Nathatop route, a Police Party of Police Station Pancheri under the command of SI Nishant Gupta, SHO P/S Pancheri rushed to the spot and recovered 10 bovine animals from the possession of four bovine smugglers. The arrested have been identified as Yousaf S/o Sugar Din R/o Panjar, Pancheri, Ghulam Ali S/o Shattu @ Kanda R/o Chulna, Pancheri, Qazi S/o Gullu R/o Kultiar, Pancheri and Mirza S/o Gullu R/o Kultyar, Pancheri. A Case FIR No. 15/2012 U/S 188/RPC Stands registered at P/S Pancheri and matter is being investigated further . |
