| NPSU constitutes polytechnic college body | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 9: National Panthers Students Union (NPSU) orgnised a students meet with the students of Government Polytechnic College, here today. Chairing the meeting NPSU provincial president Partap Singh Jamwal said that the central university of Jammu was sanctioned in the year of 2009 and vice chancellor was appointed in the year 2011. He further said that the students of Jammu region had to suffer a lot due to delay in vice chancellors appointment. Jamwal said that the land has been identified by the government but till date this land is not acquired by the university and no construction is made in the said land. On this occasion National Panthers Party general secretary Anita Thakur said that the administration is ignoring the candidates of Jammu region in appointments. Jamwal announces new unit for Polytechnic College and appointed Gurjeet Singh as chairman, Yogesh as president, Abhimanyu Singh as senior vice president, whereas vice president would be Rajveer Singh and Pranav Sharma, Ketan Kumar as working president, Rahul Singh and Sahil Sharmaa appointed as general secretary, Ajay Singh and Sachin Singh as secretary, Sahil Mahi and Sharik as secretary general, the position of joint secretary was given to Mubasheer besides many other joined NPSU. |
