Sheep Husbandry employees highlight their issues | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 9: The employees of Sheep Husbandry Department highlighted their demands in a day long conference organized at Sheep Husbandry Office Complex, Railway Road, Jammu. Veteran Trader Union leader and President of J&K Sheep & Wool Workers Association Ghulam Ahmed Mir inaugurated the conference while Former State President Mohd. Yusuf Oar and Abdul Majeed Wani (Kashmir Divison) and Sayed Ahmed Shah (Jammu Division) were also present on the occasion as special invitees on the occasion. During the meeting the members raised the demands like Implementation of SRO 86 of 2006, Re-organi sation of non-gazetted staff with a view to streamline the work load and to provide adequate promotional avenues to the existing staff, Removal of Pay anomalies of Assistant stockman, Creation of Section officer Post in Joint Directorate offices, Creation of Head Assistant Post in 811 Distt. HQ, Creation of Assistant Live Stock Officer Post at block levels, Opening of Disease investigation Labs / Shearing Centres in each District, Holding of Half Yearly DPC meeting and Reservation of promotion quota in the gazetted cadre for the non-gazetted staff. Other demands raised at the said conference included Placement period in the farms should be restricted to 2 years and on rotation basis, Enhancement of Prolong halt of migratory staff at par with move staff of secretariat employees and Provision of Guest Room for the employees at divisional office. |
