| VRS Union of SRTC holds protest rally | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 9 : VRS Union of J&K SRTC Jammu today held a mass rally in support of their long pending demands.
Dev Raj Bali -President and Surinder Singh General Secretary addressed the ralliests Exhibition Ground Press Club Jammu and then the ralliests moved towards the Civil Secretariat Jammu amidst the anti govt and SRTC management sloganeering.
They alleged them for having adamant attitude and for not clearing our pending dues, 126 slabs of Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) and pending arrears since 1999, 6th pay commission w.e.f. 2006 and the J&K SRTC management has wrongly represented our case before the Finance Department J&K Govt.
which is still pending there in Civil Secretariat Jammu.
They said that they are struggling for the last 3 years and VRS employees have been cheated as 126 slabs of COLA is giving to in-service and employees who are retiring now but is not paying to 670 VRS employees and had been left cheated.Speakers reiterated their demands 126 slab COLA and due bill including leave salary Gratuity and ex-gratia grant etc. |
