No unregistered Yatri will be allowed: Police

Srinagar, Apr 9 : "No unregistered Yatri will be allowed to move onwards on from both the Yatra routes this year, this was decided at Amarnath Yatra review meeting held in Police Control Room, Srinagar.The meeting which was chaired by Inspector General of Police Kashmir SM Sahai was attended by all the DIG's of Kashmir through which the annual yatra passes. It was decided that if any of unregistered yatries was found he will not be entertained for Yatra. During the meeting various security related issues regarding the Yatra were discussed thread bare. Contingency plans in the event of any weather calamity enroute the Holy Cave was also discussed.
