Srinagar, Apr 9 : Accusing New Delhi of shielding National Conference for the worst Kind of 'scandals and corruption scams", PDP on Monday claimed that National Conference
President Dr. Farooq Abdullah and his son and Chief Minster Omar Adullah were being Patronized by Centre to encourage corruption and other mismanagement in the state.
PDP senior vice president Molvi Iftikhar Hussain Ansari while criticizing New Delhi for Offering their 'unintentional' support to Abdullahs for practicing corruption in the state said,
"Had Haji Yusuf and JKCA like events happened in any other state, you would have heard a hue and cry all over." He added, "Because it was in Jammu and Kashmir where Chief Minster and his father enjoy their (Centre's) patronage, no one bothered to even talk about it."
Castigating National Conference for what he said making 'false promises' to People for last forty years the PDP leader said , " By befooling people NC leaders might have elevated to success but the Condition of the common man took a hit."
Ansari rejected the claims of the National Conference President regarding the offer of 18 PDP MlA's in 2008 and said that National Conference had itself turned into a camp of 'opportunities', where people Fight for the bigger positions and posts for their own benefit. Vo wing that PDP would sweep the Municipal polls, PDP vice president said that people will vote out NC in these polls. |
