Not sure of Pak taking any action against Hafiz: Soz | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 9 : In spite of furnishing "solid evidences" against Lashkar-e-Toiba founder and alleged 26/11 mastermind Hafiz Saeed by India, it is not sure Pakistan would act against him, Jammu and Kashmir Congress chief Saif-ud-Din Soz said. "I am not so sure of Pakistan taking action against Hafiz Saeed. But Prime Minister and his colleagues have given solid evidence against Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT) who was responsible for carnage in Mumbai," Soz told reporters on the sidelines of a Congress rally here. "I am sure of evidence given by them to Pakistan-- in the talks with Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari-- this question was raised," Soz, who launched Congress's campaign ahead of the civic polls in state, said. "The Pakistan civil society wants to have best relation with India. They have given a big list of Confidence Building Measures (CBMs) demanding cross country mobile service, flights, exchanges of film personalities and writers and want Visa system to be eased", he said. Soz further said that Indians also want the same. "Pakistan has now learnt the lesson that they cannot weaken India through gun and now the mouth of gun has turned towards them," Soz said. "Civil society in Pakistan are under tremendous fear due to terrorism there-- they want end of the terror. Indian Muslims are living in peace and normalcy than that of Muslims in Pakistan," JKPCC chief said. |
