| Various Educational Institutes Celebrate 58th Republic Day | | | Jammu | Jan 25 Dogra Higher Secondary School, Shastri Nagar, Jammu celebrated the 58th Republic day with great patriotic vehemence and gaiety. Uma katal, Coordinator was the chief guest .various cultural items were presented including the hoisting of Tricolor. The students Presented small skits and patriotic songs which were applauded by the audience present there. Uma Katal laid a stress on students and staff to work hard to achieve their goals. Gambhir Singh Charak, Principal in his speech congratulated the students, staff and parents on this auspicious day. Shri Maha Vir Jain School celebrated the 58th Republic day with great fervor and jollity. Mohammed Shafi Pandit was the Chief Guest on this occasion. The programme commenced with the hosting of tri color. The other dignities who were presented their were Raj Kumar Jain President of SS Jain Sabha, Principal D.C Sharma various cultural items were presented by the students. The participants also showed skills in Taekwando. At last the prizes were distributed among all participants who took part in the various activities. While Sunjuwan Middle School celebrated Republic Day by unfurling of the National flag and singing National Anthem. Brigadier RS Jamwal, Commander Sunjuwan Brigade and chairman of Sunjuwan Middle School distributed to all meritorious students who had excelled in academics and other extra curricular activities. He also exhorted the students to excel in the realms of academics, sports and extra curricular activities. The eve of Republic Day was celebrated with great zeal and enthusisan in the Galaxy college of education Sainik Colony Jammu. Hosting Ceremony was conducted by the chair person of the College. A informative and motivating speech was delivered by the Principal in which she told the students about the significance of the Republic Day. Satya Public School celebrated Republic Day in the premises of their School. Surinder Gupta (Senior Vice-President of the Youth Congress) was the Chief Guest on this occasion hosted the National Flag and distributed the sweets and prizes to the students. Various cultural items were also presented by the students of the school.
