| JPPF bats for enhanced Amarnath yatra period | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 10: Jammu Province Peoples Forum (JPPF) has announced to extend full support to Vishaw Hindu Parishad (VHP) demand for increase in duration of Shri Amarnath yatra.
According to a press release, JPPF held a meeting here today under the chairmanship of its president Judge (Retd) Paviter Singh.
Speaking on the occasion, Singh said that the government should think over the enhancement of yatra duration in the interest of yatries as well as people connected with this yatra.
Amongst others meeting was attended by office bearer Inderjit Khajuria, Gajan Singh Khajuria, Amrit Mangotra, Narayan Singh, M S Katoch, M L Sharma, Kamla Sharma, Rajesh Kesari, Avinash Bhatia, BL Bhardwaj and Sunita Sharma. |
