| 'Baisakhi Dance Bonanza' mesmerizes audience | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 10: The Baisakhi Dance Bonanza' organised by the J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages at Kala Kendra left the audience spell bound as the performances during the dance festival performed at their best.
As many 10 groups of the region participated in this dance festivity organized by the JKAACL (J&K) ahead of the annual harvesting festival -the Baishakhi here today evening.
Nasir Aslam Wani, MOS tourism and Culture was the chief guest on the occasion who declared the dance bonanza started by lighting of traditional lamp. The festival is organized with an objective to celebrate the Baisakhi festival in a bigger way and providing platform to the local artists to hone their talents and showcase the rich cultural traditions to the people, the programme which left the audience completely mesmerized. Among dance troupes which presented performances included Jackson Dancing Institute, Navrang Dancing Academy, Gurukul Dancing Institute, Tracnce Dancing Institute, Unique Dancing Institute, Young Star DANCING INSTITUTE, Magic Star Dancing Institute Tushar Cultural Club, Friends Dancing Institute and Lali Musical Club. |
