| Surya Koti Maha Yagya: Special puja held on 12th day | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 10: Sant Shri Balak Yogeshwar Dass Ji Maharaj today performed a special pooja archana of shivlingam of Lord Shiva on the seventh day of the 12-day long Surya Koti Maha Yagya being organized by Sant Shri Balak Yogeshwar Dass Ji Maharaj at Pouni in Reasi district. Sant Shri Balak Yogeshwar Dass Ji Maharaj performed special pooja of Shivlingam praying for the peace and prosperity in the world. The people turned in record numbers on the sixth day of the 12-day long Surya Koti Maha Yagya being organized by Sant Shri Balak Yogeshwar Dass Ji Maharaj at Pouni in Reasi district which created records day by day as devotees from across the state continuing to participate in the yagya for seeking the blessings and they performed parikarma of yagya shala. The saints from across the state are continuing to participate in the yagya. Today Maha Mandleshwar Durga Dass Ji participated in the yagya. Bhandara was also organized on the occasion throughout the yagya in which prasad was distributed among the devotees. Bhajan kirtan mandlis from Vrindavan mesmerizing the devotees throughout the yagya. Famous Raas Leela of Vrindavan was also depicted on the occasion. The Raas Leela will be performed daily in the evening in which devotees turned in thousands to witness the Raas Leela depicting the various leelas of Lord Krishna. It is pertinent to mention here that Pouni is the birth place of Sant Balak Yogeshwar Dass Ji Maharaj. The puranahuti of the yagya will be performed on April 14. The organizers appealed to all the people to participate in the yagya in large numbers to make it a grand success. |
