JAC to go strike on April 17

JAMMU, Apr 10: Daily Wagers Employees Assoc-iation (DWEA) demanded that government should regularize them as early as possible, here today. Addressing the gathering one of the member Gurnam Salathia said that administration headed by Political Advisor to chief minister Davinder Singh Rana and other dignitaries entered into a written agreement with leaders of Joint Consultative Commi-ttee (JAC) on September 15, 2010. He maintained that it was also declared that the policy regarding regularization would be announced by 31st March 2012, but till date no action has been taken to redress their grievances.
Members criticised state government for its anti workers attitude and against wrong policies of coalition government and declared that forum, supports one day token strike call on April 17 by Joint Action Committee (JAC) regarding their genuine demands.
