| Speed ball game introduced in JMPS | | | early times report
JAMMU, Apr 11: Students of Jammu Montessori Public School (JMPS) today had an opportunity to play speedball particularly when a team led by general secretary of Jammu Kashmir Speed Ball Association (JKSBA) imparted students with the basic skills of speed ball.
Sunny Nanda and his team members Mohd Majeed, Sahil Janjua, Ritik Sharma Uditi Verma and Manika Sharma as a resource persons held demonstrations and the mock match alonwgith students to make them interested in the said game.
On the occasion trustee of the school Nandan, principal of the school Trilok Singh Bist and the vice principal Mrs Rohini appreciated the visitors for creating enthusiasm and zeal among the students of host school in the new game.
This would not only help them to grow healthy but also open avenues to visit abroad and for better employment opportunities through spo-rts, the resource persons underlined.
Meanwhile the trustee of the school mentioned that one Uditi Verma had participated in Games at France for the International Championship.
