| Orientation programme o adolescent girls concludes | | | NOWSHERA | JAN 25
A six day long orientation training programme of adolescent girls in the age group of 11-15 years organized under Kishori Shakti Yojana by the ICDS Project, Nowshera concluded here today.
Tehsildar, Pawan Sharma Nowshera presided over the valedictory function the training programme was atteved by 30 adolescent girls drawn form 10 Anganwadi centres of ICDS project Nowshera. Resource person form various Deptt. like Health, Education, Social Welfare imparted training to the participants.
A debate competition was also organized in which the participant girls discuss what they learn during the entire course speaking on the occasion tehsildar tole the participans that adolescence age is very critical stage in one’s life. They should not only apply the knowledge learned during this course to oneself but also disseminate this information to the grass root level in the area.
Other who spoke on the occasion included CDPO Atul Gupta who spoke Kishori Shakti Yojana and improving the condition of women.
