| Saigal remembered on 108th birth anniversary | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Apr 11: A musical programme was organized to pay tributes to the legendry Kundan Lal Saigal on his 108th birth anniversary at Aarohi Kala Sangeet Vidyalaya Gandhi Nagar Jammu.
The programme was organized by Nirvana Academy in association with Aarohi Kala Sangeet Vidyalaya. Prog-ramme started with the speech of President Nirvana Academy who threw the light on the achievements and life of K L Saigal.
Noted singer Kuldeep Kumar and Amit Kumar sung bhajans and popular songs of K L Saigal "Jab Dil Hi Toot Gaya", "Gham Diye Mustakil" in the programme which were highly appreciated by the youth, children and their parents. Speaking on the occasion, Kuldeep Kumar said that they are very thankful to Nirvana Academy which organized such cultural prog-ramme in their premises and through these prog-rammes youth and children came to know about the legends, their achievements and their music. |
