| SSA organizes conventions at Samba, Vijaypur | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Apr 11: Continuing the enrolment drive of Sarv Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) Panchayat conventions held in Educational Zone of Vijaypur and Samba, today.
During the programme both the Zonal Education Officer's (ZEOs) gave the reply of the questions pointed out by the participants.
The VEC Members, Pancha-yat Members were also made aware about their right for the uplift-ment of standard of education in government sch-ools. They were also requested by the officials for enrolling maximum number of students in government school as government is providing various facilities for the students under SSA and special focus is also given for the education of out of School and Never Enrolled besides SC/ ST/OBC students.
Poster regarding admission in government schools was also distributed. Among those who were present on the occasion included ZEO, Vijaypur Gopal Khaj-uria, ZEO, Samba Adarsh Dogra. P.L. Thappa, Bhagwan Dass, Rajiv Kumar Shiv Kumar, Didar Singh and Jagdish Singh Jamwal beside others. |
