PHE employees threaten stir

Kathua, Apr 11: The PHE Workers Association Division Kathua gave ultimatum to the state Govt up to 19th of April to full fill the demands of the employees or be ready to face the dire consequences. The state coalition Govt of Jammu and Kashmir has adopted callous attitude towards the PHE employees and seemed failed to address the long pending genuine demands of we employees said by Sh. Joginder Singh president of PHE Workers Association Division Kathua during addressing a meeting at Kathua. The meeting was headed by Sh. Joginder Singh president of PHE Workers Association Division Kathua and focused to the long pending demands of the PHE employees for which the association has been fighting for the last three months with state coalition Govt. The various speakers delivered their concerns over the pending demands and injustice with them due to the non seriousness of the state coalition Govt towards PHE employees due which the intensity of the resentment upon the Govt is increasing day by day and may forced to adopt a relentless way to conquer the undemocratic and dictorial attitude of the Govt. Joginder Singh president of the association said that the association has launched struggle for our right since 2 April at the office of Chief Engineer, Jammu but no attention has been given by the Govt so far and resulting the struggle will be stronger in organized way to pressurize the Govt. He said association is demanding that all the workers of PHE should be givens Rs.125 per day, to release the salary of workers on 5th of every month, to release the balance salary of all the daily wagers, to regularize all the need based workers after the completion of five years, to cancel the transfers of all the class v1th employees, to make the promotion of all the employees as per seniority list, to release the list of all C.P workers of 2005, and others. On the occasion it is said that all the workers are suffering from crucial condition and reached at the stage of hunger and poverty. In the meeting Pritam Singh, Raj Kumar, Parshotam, Ram, Jaswant Raj, Jai Pal Singh, Ashok Kumar, Sham Singh and others were present.
