| Widening of road major problem: SS | | | early times report
JAMMU, Apr 11: Sangram Sena (SS) discussed their problems due to widening the road, here today.
Chairing the meeting Ram Rattan Raina said that the people of the area are suffering due widening of Bye Pass road from Jammu to Udhampur via Jagti. He alleged that construction is using heavy bull dozers and earth excavating machines which is resulting in deforestation besides agricultural land and residential house of inhabitant also endangered.
Raina urged the chief minister Omar Abdullah to intervene and halt the work and divert as per plan. Among those who were present on the occasion included Sham Lal Sharma, Rajesh Banathia, Vishal Singh, Ravi Singh, Vishal Sharma, Arjun Slathia, Ajay Sharma and Jugal Khajuria beside others. |
