FCI employees continue their protest | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Apr 11: The em-ployees of the Food Corporation of India (FCI) in state belonging to the different unions today staged a day-long dharna in Jammu and Kashmir in support to the second phase of agitation called jointly by Food Corporation of India Unions in protest against the FCI management and to move the government in order to address their demands. The dharna was called across the country, as no tangible solution was found following the talks between the management and the FCI trade unions. The workers held massive protest at Rail Head Complex, Jammu and New store at Srinagar, where hundreds of workers shouted slogans against the FCI management. While addressing the workers the union leaders warned the management not to adopt the tactics to harm the ongoing agitation by adopting one and other way. The union leaders showed full sympathy with the standard truck's driver who have been harmed due to the bandh. The leaders of the union heavily stated that if their long pending genuine demands are not fulfilled at the earliest they will intensify ongoing strike further. The FCI management will be responsible for the suffering caused to the peoples of J&K state. They showed their full sympathy with the general masses and the grief over the in convenience caused in the J&K state. The leaders those who addressed the workers Include H.C. Sharma (Vico President), and Ch. Jamat AIi, Vijay Kumar, Charanjeet Singh and others.
