| NC condoles death of Sheikh | | | Jammu Jan 26 Jammu and Kashmir National Conference has expressed grief and s shock over the sad demise of Sheikh Ghulam Mohammed, senior vice president NC Kishtwar unit, who breathed his last the other day. The party in a statement issued here today has condoled the death of Sheikh Ghulam Ahmed, one of its senior leaders, who met with an accident in Saudi Arabia where he had gone to perform Haj and was currently undergoing treatment in Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences Soura in Srinagar. The party has expressed sympathies with the bereaved family and prayed for grant of peace to the departed soul and courage to the family members to bear this irreparable loss. The leaders, who issued the statement, included Ajay Sadhotra, Provincial President National Conference, Sajad Ahmed Kichloo, Rachpal Singh, Mushtaq Ahmed Bukhari, Javid Rana, Abdul Gani Malik, Dr Chaman Lal and Mohammed Aslam, all legislators. They said that the vacuum created with the demise of the senior party leader is difficult to be filled in. In the meanwhile, District Committee NC Kishtwar has also condoled the death of its senior leader and conveyed heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family.
