| Hardcore criminal booked under PSA | | | Early Times Report
jammu, Apr 12: District Magistrate Jammu ordered the detention of a hardcore gangster who has been arrested by Jammu Police be booked under J&K Public Safety Act.
"Upon the recommendation of District Police Jammu, District Magistrate Jammu ordered the detention of one notorious gangster of Yudvir @ Babloo gang member namely Manoj Kumar @ Moja son of Late Ashok Kumar resident of W. No. 04, R.S. Pura Jammu under J&K Public Safety Act, police said.
Police statement said that subject is a hardcore/habitual criminal who has formed a gang of criminals to carry out his nefarious activities and seven (7) criminal cases under heinous offences have been registered against the subject. He is indulged in attempt to murder and assault cases and numerous FIRS' have been registered against the subject in different Police Stations of Jammu District.
In compliance to the detention order of District Magistrate, SHO R.S. Pura Inspector Paramjit Singh immediately detained the subject and further handed him over to Superintendent Central Jail Kot Bhalwal Jammu for further detention. |
