SRINAGAR, AUG 01: Two Border Security Force (BSF) Personnel were killed on spot when militants fired upon them outside a tea stall near SHMS hospital at Kaka Sarai in Srinagar on Tuesday. Jashe-e-Mohammad (JeM) has claimed the responsibility for the attack. According to the reports reaching here, militants fired upon two personnel of 49 battalion BSF who were coming out of a tea stall at Kaka Sarai, killing them on spot on Tuesday afternoon. . Sources said that the duo had come along with his colleague to admit him (colleague) in the SMHS hospital. Slain soldiers have been identified as head constable Ram Avtar and Constable Sanjay Kumar Yadav. Sources said that heavy reinforcements of police and CRPF have been rushed to the area to nab the militants responsible for the attack. Militant outfit Jash-e- Mohammad has calimed the responsibility of the attack. In a tele statement to KPS, a caller identifying himself as the spokes man of the outfit, Abu Kadama said, “Cadres from the outfit carried out the attack on BSF near SMHS hospital”. Regarding the Dalgate attack the spokesman said, “cadres besides killing two CRPF personnel were also successful in snatching the riffle from one of the slain personnel”.
