Regularized Rehbar-e-Taleem Teachers' (ReTs) Forum, in a meeting held under chairmanship of its State Chairman Surinder K Choudhary, has appealed the Education Minister Peerzada Mohammed Sayeed and Minister of State for Education Manjeet Singh to personally intervene and get the long pending demands of the teachers solved at the earliest.
The Forum among other things are demanding regularization of all those ReT's who have completed their five years tenure, inclusion of five years service in service records, conversion of Educational guarantee centers into Government primary schools and enhancement in wages of ReTs and para-teachers up to the basic pay of the government teacher.
The meeting was among others attended by Jagdish Singh, Rajinder Singh, Vinay Sharma, Anil Choudhary, Dr Kiran, Joginder Singh, Surinder Singh, Dharm Paul, Raj Kumar, Ashok Choudhary, Jagdev Singh and Khem Raj.
