Tawi trekkers to organize trekking in Kullu- Manali

Jammu , Apr 12 : Tawi Trekkers the premier trekking organization of J&K, is organising a trekking programme during this summer in Himachal Pradesh. The trek to be conducted in the Kullu- Manali area would start from June 6.
During the 6 day venture the participants, in the age group of 10 to 14 years, would trek through the snow bound Rohtang Pass, the gate way to Ladakh, situated at an altitude of 13500ft; Solang valley, a heaven for adventure lovers; the beautiful Jogini water fall, Mcleodganj, the seat of His Holiness Dalai Lama and the sacred shrine of Chamunda Devi.
Besides, the trekkers would visit the Atal Behari Bajpai Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports and shall also have the opportunity of watching and enjoying adventure games like paragliding, Zorbing, sledging, skiing, cable car and white water rafting in the Beas river.
The participation fee for the 6 day venture which promises an experience of a life time to the young students, is Rs.3950/-only.
The fee includes the cost of transportation, boarding, lodging, insurance and supervision under expert trekkers, from Jammu to Jammu.
The programme is being organized in coordination with Mountaineering Association of J&K and J&K State Sport Climbing Committee.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Tawi Trekkers J&K is a voluntary adventure sports and social organization run by a band of dedicated persons whose only aim is to spread the spirit of adventure and love of nature amongst all strata of society without distinction of colour, caste and creed.
