| SAD hails government decision on PSC | | | JAMMU JAN 26 Shiromanai Akali Dal (SAD), in a meeting held under the chairmanship of its President Gurcharan Singh Dutta, has hailed the decision of the State Government for creation of two more posts of Members in Public Service Commission. Addressing the meeting Gurdev Singh Vice President and spokesman of the party has urged the Chief Minister to give due representation to Sikh community and persons of integrity with high level of acceptability in the society be appointed as a member of the Commission. He alleged that the Sikh community, which has played a key role in rebuilding the State during past six decades, has been and are continuously being ignored on all fronts thereby making them feel alienated. Dayal Singh Wazir, General Secretary SAD who also addressed the meeting alleged that the Sikhs have always been discriminated in employment and admission to professional institutions. Others who also spoke on the occasion included Kehar Singh member DGPC, Jarnail Singh, Hazara Singh, Avtar Singh, Jagir Singh, Tarlochan Singh Bijral and Balal Singh
