Subscribers threaten stir against network failure
1/26/2007 9:26:01 PM
Bhaderwah Jan 26
The BSNL subscribers have threatened to launch a stir against the failure of the telecom authorities to provide proper net working in the militancy- infested area of Bhaderwah and its adjoining areas. They alleged that despite paying for the service, the communication network remains disrupted for days together for the reasons best known to the authorities.
If the concerned authorities fail to improve the net working system in the area, the subscribers would move to the Consumer court to get their grievance addressed.
With the failure of net working, the Bhaderwah town has remained cut off with rest of the country continuously for the last four days, said Arif Nadeem Mir.
The BSNL authorities when contacted refused to comment and said they have no concern with the mobile network and the entire responsibility lies on head office.
Another subscriber Rashid Latief said that if no action is taken to set right the net working system an agitation would be launched in the town against the callous attitude of the BSNL authorities..
