| Ex-SI's wife found hanging in their room | | | early times report
JAMMU, Apr 13: The wife of a retired sub-inspector (SI) of police was today found hanging in the bedroom of their house at New Plots here.
Police sources said Rajni (55), wife of retired SI Brahm Dutt, was found hanging from the ceiling fan hook in the bedroom of their house at New Plots in the morning.
After the matter came to their notice, police reached the spot and evacuated the body to the GMCH mortuary where post-mortem was conducted on it. Later, it was handed over to her family members for last rites.Police had registered a case in this connection under section 174 of CrPC and initiated inquest proceedings. Brahm remained incharge of GMCH police post before his retirement.
