| Kargil bound standard passengers protests against Govt | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Apr 13: The Standard Passengers of Kargil on Friday at Kargil House Jammu ,protested against state governments, Hill Council Kargil for not providing Air Service to the standard passenger of Kargil from last 3 week,
They alleged that the Omar Abdullah-led National Conference and Congress Government in Jammu and Kashmir a "total failure in all aspects," and flayed it for not providing basic amenities to the people of the Kargil district.
Stranded passengers accused Omar Abdullah and Farooq Abdullah for playing with the sentiments of Kargil people over the sensitive issue of Air Service and Zojila Tunnel. Due to cancellation of Air Service from last 3 week people from low-income groups including students were finding it difficult to meet their daily expenses. The state government had failed to provide AN32 Air Service for Standard Passenger of Kargil while government is quite unresponsive to looking into the problems faced by them, stranded passengers added.
Majority of standard passenger comprise student community who lamented that in view of continued cancellation of AN32 Courier Service Kargil from last 3 week staged protest here at Jammu Airport against State Govt. "There are more than 400 standard passenger of Kargil here in Jammu," protestor added.
