New Delhi, Apr 13: While superstar Shahrukh Khan's detention at the New York airport became the biggest news of the day, here's what Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah had to say about the entire issue.
Giving a cold shoulder to the incident, Omar tweeted, "Honestly what's the big deal?? This airport detention thing happens all the time and to all sorts of people. Get over it." This is the second time when Shahrukh has been detained at US airport. Khan's detention evoked a mini war between India and America. India's Foreign Minister SM Krishna has reacted strongly to the incident. Krishna said that it has become a policy of detention and apology by the US which cannot continue, while the US customs and border protection authorities have expressed "profound" apologies for the entire incident. |
