| ‘Start cricketing activities’ | | | Jammu: The JKCA scam has brought all cricketing activities to a halt in the state. As the internal bickering continue unabated in the association, the chances of saving and promoting the game seem quite bleak.
The whole ground of Sher-I- Kashmir Cricket Stadium, Srinagar has been dugout and is to be re-laid. The special grass to be used is to be imported and its air lifting is going to take more than a month. The way things are shaping up, the stadium may not be ready in time for the National activities.
Cricket lovers have urged the chorus of the 20 odd working committee members who boycotted the election of JKCA for the crucification of the Chairman and holding immediate elections, to immediately start the cricketing activities. |
