4/15/2012 11:07:29 PM
early times report
KATHUA, Apr 15: Kisaan Movement has lambasted the state coalition Govt for remaining silent over the long pending demands of farmers of Jammu and Kashmir despite several protest demonstrations. The most urgent and genuine need of the procurement centres for the management of the crop produce has been deliberately ignored and turned down by the state coalition Govt which encourages the middlemen to exploit the hard work of farmers on cheap rates, said Daya Ram Sharma, Tehsil president of Movement and senior most leader of Kisaan Movement Karan Singh and Sahib Singh chairman Nature-Mankind Fri-endly Global Movement while addressing a press conference here today.
They said that the Kisaan Movement has been struggling for the demands of the farmer community for last many years but state govt has not paid any heed to bring the satisfactory change in the condition of farmer community.
