| Jammu skyline filled with spalsh of colours | | | early times report
jAmmu, Apr 15: A double rainbow spread over the skyline of city of temples sunday attracted large number of local residents to climb stairs and step out in the open to witness the colourful phenomenon after a long time. The children were very happy and accompanied house elders to witness the double rainbow, a rare phenomenon.
Soon after the sun made an appearance after a brief shower Sunday evening the city skyline was filled with splash of colours. The two semi spheres looked radiant under the sharp glare of the sun. Many enthusiasts who love photography gathered their equipment and shot the unique rainbow.
Meanwhile in view of fresh spell of rain on sunday many banquet halls where marriage functions were being organised faced lot of hardships as they had to shift their venue inside the halls. The families hosting the reception dinners were also very disturbed as the sudden change in weather conditions created lot of hurdles in the smooth conduct of the marriage functions. The grounds were filled with water and lot of effort was made by the organisers of the banquet halls to minimise the hardships in view of the large attendance of guests. |
