| AJKLTF rues delay tactics of Govt in conceding teachers' demands | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 15: A day long session of All J&K Ladakh Teachers Federation (AJKLTF) held here today in which the representatives of various districts of Jammu province participated.
The members held threadbare discussions with regard to various long pending demands of teaching community and agreement held between high power committee of Govt of J&K and JCC representatives at Srinagar on September 15, 2011.
While addressing the media persons, Balwan Singh Jamwal president of the Federation along with Ram Kumar Sharma, Chief spokesman of JCC who was also present expressed their serious concern over the delaying tactics adopted by the State Govt to concede the genuine demands of the teaching fraternity.
Inspite of repeated memorandum Govt failed to promote the under graduate trained teachers working in the education department after 2004, they said.Headmasters and lectures are still working in their own pay and grade in spite of cabinet decision taken to regularize all the headmasters and lectures working in their own pay and grade since 1998, they added. |
