| Rampant corruption in Kishtwar leaves development in shambles: BJP | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar, Apr 15 : The Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) state secretary Sunil Sharma expressed deep anguish and concern over the continuous neglect and apathy on part of govt. towards the people of kishtwar. The district administration here has failed in all respect with high level of corruption and nepotism looming larger. Development has been put to the back end and the officers concerned are only interested in filling the pockets worse to it is the fact that the political representatives of that area have also turned a blind eye towards the woes of people. Sharma said that the condition of main road of kishtwar town from Dak-banglow to Mallipath is the glaring example of rampant corruption and sorry state of affairs prevailing in the administration. This road is highly congested and there is always traffic jams. In the name of widening, the authorities have only misappropriated funds and nothing appears on the ground.The already existing drains are being shown constructed . More over some building material has been dumped carelessly in the road thereby causing great difficulty to the people. This sorry state of affairs has been going on for several years now.
The administration with hand in glow with political representatives has only looted the money that was meant for the poor masses and development activities. Alleging total failure of state Govt in providing basic amenities to the common masses, Sharma said Distt Hospital has become refer Hospital due to shortage of Doctors and paramedical staff even after tall claims of local representatives of Govt.Various posts are lying vacant and poor masses have to face the difficulties. Almost all the Govt. departments have been infected with high corruption, nepotism and no work culture.
The common public has been put on the wall. The B.J.P warns the Distt. Administration to put the things right at the earlier or prepare to face the wrath of people. Corruption should be curbed strictly and a fast ,speedy system of development ensured immediately or the B.J.P will launch a Distt. wide agitation in this regard. |
