| Azad pays floral tributes to martyrs of Information Department | | | JAMMU, JANUARY 26
Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad visited control room of Information Department at Moulana Azad Stadium here today after conclusion of the Republic Day function and paid floral tributes to the martyrs of the department who lost their lives on January 26, 1995 at the stadium in a terrorist attack while on duty.
Mr. Azad garlanded the portraits of the then Field Publicity Officer Jammu Mr. Anil Kumar Abrol and Operators S. Harbans Singh and Mr. Anchal Singh kept in the control room.
Padamshree Mrs. Shamim Azad, Chief Secretary Mr. C. Phunsog, Director General of Police Mr. Gopal Sharma, Director Information and Public Relations Khawaja Farooq Renzu, Joint Director Information Mr. S. K. Sharma, other officers and staff of the Information Department also paid homage to the martyrs of the department
