| Various programmes to mark Parshuram Jayanti celebrations | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 15: To mark the Jayanti of Bhagwan Shri Parshuram, a series of programmes with traditional fervour for two days will be held commencing from April 23. Addressing the media persons here today, Shakti Dutt Sharma General Secretary of Dogra Pratinidhi Sabha told that on the eve of Jayanti two days programme have been finalized with an impressive Sobha Yatra April 23 reflecting the images of Dogra Amar Shaheed Datta Ranpat, Bawa Jito, Dawarka Nath Shastri, Bawa Kailakh Dev led by the main Jhanki of Bhagwan Parshuram.
Other Jhankies of Bapu Asha Ram Ashram, Dewan Mandir Ram Lila Club will also join the Sobha Yatra.
The Yatra will start at 4 PM from Chanakaya Chowk, Parade and after making around through main Bazars of the city.
It will conclude in the Parade Ground.
Satsang will also be organized in the Sabha at 1 PM by Gangu ji Maharaj and Suresh Shastri in the Parshotam Bhawan. He said that on April 24 as per tradition Yagno paveet Sanskar will be solemnized under the guidance of Dr Vishwa Murti and Dr. Chander Moli Raina which will start at 7 am. |
