| PSUs workers staged protest demonstration followed by day long Dharna | | | Jammu Apr 16: All Public Sector Employees & Workers Federation staged protest demonstration in their respective corporate offices of Jammu Division and then at a protest in front of Office of Divisional Commissioner at Rail Head Complex Jammu.Led by the leadership of Joginder Paul, S Amrik Singh Sasan and Kuldip Sharma Chairman, President & General Secretary respectively the protestors highlighted their demands like Regularization of Daily Wagers & Contractual Employees of PSU'S, Enhancement of retirement age from 58 to 60 years, Payment of 6th Pay Commission arrears in favour of PSU employees on the same analogy of Govt. employees, and Implementation of 6th Pay Commission.Speakers also demanded Conversion of COLA 'into DA in the left over PSUS viz-a- viz release of timely salaries to all PSU employees, Implementation of Gratuity Act in toto and raising of amount up to Rs. 10.00 lacs, Revival ofPSU'S by enhancing Budgetary support in their favour and Pensionery benefits for PSU's and Payment of VRS terminal benefits to the PSU employees besides removal of grade anomalies of PSU's.The senior JCC leaders namely Ram Kumar Sharma Chief Spokesman JCC, Mohd Gafoor Dar JCC, Balwan Singh and Ganesh Khajuria while addressing the protestors assured their full support and solidarity with the PSU employees for any struggle launched by them.
The PSU leaders fully supported the Kaam Chhor Hartal announced by JCC on 17-04-2012 in support of long pending demands of PSU/ Govt. employees. |
