| Lecturers' Forum extends support to striking employees | | | JAMMU, Apr 16: All J and K Plus 2 Lecturers' Forum today supported the Kaam Chhor Hartal of the Government Employees scheduled for April, 17th 2012. The Central executive of the Forum which met under its president Narinder Singh Jamwal decided to extend support to the striking employees for the genuine demands. The Forum condemned the Government for its apathetic attitude towards the working class in the State that has forced the employees to take the extreme step to boycott the work. Jamwal appealed to the whole lecturer community to extend their support to the employees who have been struggling for their genuine demands for the last one year. Jamwal appealed to the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for his personal intervention to address the grievance of employees particularly for the removal of anomalies in the cadre.
Others who spoke on the occasion include vice president, Charan Dass, general secretary Tarsem Singh, chief organiser Ashwani Sharma and others. |
