| Plus 2 Lecturers lend support to employees' strike | | | JAMMU, Apr 16: All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers' Forum has strongly supported the Kaam Chhodo Hartal of the Government Employees scheduled for April 17. The Central Executive of the Forum which met at Jammu under the Chairmanship of Narinder Singh Jamwal, its President extend Moral support to the striking Employees for the genuine issues.
The House strongly condemned the Government for its apathetic attitude towards the working class in the State that has forced the Employees to take the extreme step to boycott the work. Jamwal appealed the whole lecturer community to extend their moral support to the employees who have been struggling for their genuine demands for the last one year. Considering the long pending demands of the employees as genuine, Jamwal appealed to the Govt. to implement the agreement held between the Govt. and the representative of different factions of the employees on Sept, 15 2011. Jamwal while speaking on this occasion appealed the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for his personal intervention to address the grievance of employees particularly for the removal of anomalies in the cadre. Other who spoke on the occasion include Charan Dass vice President, Tarsem Singh, general secretary Ashwani Sharma, Chief Organiser besides others. |
